Maliparampil Memorial Lectures And MST Golden Jubilee Symposium
It was a gorgeous day for Ruhalaya family, as all Ruhalayans and invited missionaries participated in an ever memorable symposium on the theme 'Challenges to Christian Mission in India Today'. The symposium was organized in Ruhalaya Theologate by Rev. Fr. Joy Panjikaran, the Dean of studies. The resource person for the symposium was His Excellency Mar. Prince Panengadan the Bishop of Adhilabad Diocese and the former student of Ruhalaya Major Seminary. Rev Fr Peter Vattappara, The Rector welcomed all. Mar Sebastian Vadakkel inaugurated the event with his valuable and inspiring words and he brought attention to the fact that challenges for mission is not a new phenomena, it has been there from the beginning and will be there in future. Being enthusiastic visionary and missionary Mar. Panengadan, with his thought-provoking and inspiring words, filled the hearts of each and everyone who gathered at Ruhalaya from diverse parts of Ujjain diocese. He insisted that problems or challenges are not only from outside but also from inside. He insisted the need of direct preaching, using social medias and learning the scripture. There was also occasion for the audience to raise question. The symposium was well appreciated and congratulated by all.
